Fire Weather Watch
...RED FLAG WARNING FOR THE NORTHEAST HIGHLANDS AND NORTHEAST PLAINS UNTIL 7 PM MDT TODAY DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY... ...FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR MUCH OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY... .Strong southwest winds will continue across northeastern New Mexico through this afternoon. Gusts of 35 to 45 mph will be commonplace, while humidities drop below 15 percent for the second straight day. Outdoor burning is not recommended..
